This Acceptable Use Policy protects Spiral Technologies, customers, upstream providers, datacenters, network partners, and the public. Customer may not use Spiral Technologies services for illegal, abusive, harmful, high-risk, or disruptive activity.
1. Illegal Content and Activity
Customer may not host, transmit, link to, promote, store, distribute, or facilitate content or activity that violates applicable law. This includes without limitation:
- Child sexual abuse material, exploitation, or grooming
- Human trafficking
- Terrorism support or violent extremist activity
- Fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, or credential theft
- Stolen financial data, identity documents, accounts, tokens, or credentials
- Malware, botnets, ransomware, trojans, worms, spyware, droppers, loaders, or malicious code
- Unauthorized access or attempted unauthorized access to any system
- Sale or distribution of stolen data, illegal goods, or compromised systems
- Copyright infringement, piracy, cracked software, ROMs, IPTV piracy, or license bypass tools
- Illegal gambling, illegal drugs, or controlled-substance sales
- Harassment, threats, doxxing, stalking, extortion, or targeted abuse
2. Security Abuse
Customer may not use services for:
- Port scanning or vulnerability scanning of third-party systems without authorization
- Credential stuffing or brute forcing
- Exploit hosting or sales
- Malware hosting, botnets, or command-and-control infrastructure
- Spam tools, phishing kits, or DDoS tools
- Stressers, booters, packet flooding, reflection or amplification attacks
- Malicious proxies or open proxies used for abuse
- TOR exit nodes without written permission
- Unauthorized monitoring, scraping, or control of third-party systems
3. Spam and Email Abuse
Customer may not send spam or unsolicited bulk email. Customer may not operate open mail relays, snowshoe spam, purchased-list campaigns, phishing campaigns, malware email campaigns, mail bombing, or mail systems that repeatedly cause blacklisting. Spiral Technologies may block ports, suspend mail service, or terminate services involved in spam or blacklisting.
4. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Customer may not host, link to, stream, seed, distribute, proxy, or provide access to copyrighted content without authorization. Prohibited content includes pirated movies, shows, music, games, software, ROMs, IPTV streams, cracked software, license keys, leaked source code, and unauthorized paid content.
5. Cryptocurrency Mining
Cryptocurrency mining is prohibited unless specifically approved in writing by Spiral Technologies. Approval may be denied or revoked for power, cooling, hardware, billing, abuse, provider, or operational reasons.
6. Proxies, VPNs, and Anonymization
Public proxies, open proxies, abuse-prone VPN services, traffic relay services, tunneling services, residential proxy services, scraping proxy networks, or anonymization services are prohibited unless approved in writing. Private VPN use for lawful administration may be permitted where it does not create abuse, reputation, security, or provider risk.
7. Resource Abuse
Customer may not overload or degrade CPU, RAM, storage, IO, network, power, cooling, hypervisors, panels, backup systems, or shared infrastructure. We may limit, suspend, migrate, or terminate services causing degradation, excessive usage, or provider risk, even if the activity is otherwise lawful.
8. DDoS Protection Abuse
Customer may not intentionally attract, generate, provoke, sell, or coordinate DDoS attacks or malicious traffic. Customer may not use Spiral Technologies services as a booter, stresser, attack platform, DDoS-for-hire service, bulletproof host, or abuse-tolerant host. Customer may not advertise services hosted by Spiral Technologies as bulletproof, abuse-friendly, or suitable for illegal activity. Spiral Technologies may suspend, filter, null-route, or terminate any service receiving repeated, extreme, or business-threatening attacks.
9. Game Server Use
Game servers must comply with all game publisher, platform, mod, anticheat, community, and licensing terms. Customer may not run malicious mods, token grabbers, backdoors, leaked assets, unauthorized monetization, DDoS tools, harassment servers, doxxing communities, or fraud communities.
10. Resale
Resale is allowed only where permitted by the purchased plan. Resellers are responsible for downstream users and must enforce terms at least as restrictive as this AUP.
11. Abuse Handling
We may investigate abuse complaints and take action including warning, suspension, null-routing, filtering, content removal, port blocking, service termination, IP reassignment, or disclosure to law enforcement or upstream providers. We are not required to provide advance notice before taking action to protect security, customers, providers, or the network.
12. No Refunds for Abuse
AUP violations are not eligible for refunds, credits, SLA credits, compensation, or data recovery guarantees.
