How it started
It started as a homelab in Rochester, NY — a few machines, a lot of trial and error, and growing frustration with hosting providers that oversell resources, hide fees, and treat support as a cost center rather than a feature.
We built the platform we always wanted to use: honest specs, transparent pricing, and the ability to actually talk to someone who knows the stack. Operations expanded into Albany, NY as the infrastructure grew, and SpiralHosts was born — a hosting and colocation provider built for people who take uptime seriously. Future regions are already on the map.
Where we're headed
Albany, NY is our home base and primary datacenter region. We're actively working on expanding to additional regions — so your workloads stay close to your users no matter where they are.
Beyond new regions, we're building out the game server platform, a self-service dashboard, and managed options for teams that want infrastructure without the ops overhead.
What we stand for
Honest uptime
We post real numbers, communicate incidents clearly, and don't hide behind vague SLA language. When something breaks, we tell you.
No overselling
Resources you pay for are yours. We don't stack 40 customers on a node that handles 15 and call it 'burstable'.
Human support
You talk to the people who built and run the platform — not a tier-1 script. Most issues get resolved in the first reply.
Security by default
DDoS protection, isolated networking, and sensible defaults out of the box. Security first, not as an afterthought.
